Welcome
to the University of Chicago Track Club web site.
The UCTC was founded in 1952 by Ted Haydon, the track
coach of the University of Chicago at the time.
Today
the UCTC offers:
- Youth
track and field training program coached by five coaches
- Opportunity
for
the best of the Youth Program athletes to compete in regional
and national meets
- Six
developmental track and field meets during the summer at the Haydon
Track of Stagg Field in Chicago
- Indoor
track and field meet in December called the Haydon Holiday Classic
- Group
runs and workouts for club members and others interested in training
together
- Annual
awards banquet 3-30-2013 (More

In
addition, many of the officers and members are USATF certified track
& field officials and officiate the UCTC meets and other regional
and national meets. |
